Flower Girl

As you know Ryland has already been a flower girl, and I thought I'd share with you a few of the professional pictures from the wedding last summer she was in. I don't think I have shared them on the blog yet, and knew you would want to see because they are beautiful pictures.

Last Weekend

Last weekend Ryland had a lot of adventures. She visited Pop Pop and Sally's house, met many animals at a friend of ours house, and it was even nice enough for us to go to the park. Ryland is growing up so fast, I just can't believe how much she has changed in the past few weeks. She now asks questions, speaks in sentences, loves to color, drinks out of big girl cups, and even told us she wants to be a "farmer/ballet dancer" when she grows up. It's such an amazing journey being her mom.

Spendin' Time With Dad

A few days ago an old friend of mine from ballet invited me to a small informal dance performance, leaving Champ and Ryland to enjoy some time alone together. As you can tell from the pictures, they had a great time! I'd like to point out that the majority of their time was spent drawing pictures of "mama". You see, Ryland likes to draw, but she really likes it when someone draws for her. She likes to be the director, making commands like "draw mama" and "draw beard on mama". So upon my arrival home that night, Ryland and Champ presented me with a piece of paper with several drawings of myself...all of them with beards. What a silly girl.

Baby Shower

This weekend was a very big weekend! Ryland got to meet her new adopted cousin Havensong. She is just a few months younger than Ryland, and absolutely adorable. My cousin Michelle is older than me, and we now joke about how we never thought we would have babies at the same time.

It was also my friend Shannon's baby shower this weekend, and Ryland had a lot of fun. She helped open the presents, and goofed off the rest of the time. Everyone always says....is she always that happy? and I would have to answer...yes, pretty much.

My Little Model

As you may know, I have been in a hair clip making world lately. I've also been learning to crochet and have proudly made Ryland a few hats. I have a little shop online for selling these items, and Ryland is my little model. She loves to play with all the hair clips I make, as if they are little toys. Snow Pictures

Monster Eyes!

My last blog post featured a picture of Ryland's so called "Monster Eyes". Well, here is a video of what I am talking about. She has a cookie monster stuffed toy with big silly eyes on it. Champ started trying to imitate it's crazy eyes one day, and ever since then, "monster eyes" has been a part of our daily activities. So funny!
