My name is Ryland and...

I love to visit the animals at the pet store...


I also love playing with my friends...


But I really love sleep!


And most of all I love to be goofy

RPC, my amazing lady

Every day spent with this little lady is amazing. People are constantly stopping us in stores and parks asking "how old is she? she speaks so well!". Now, I'm not trying to brag, but I certainly am proud of her! When I got home from work today, Champ informed me that Ryland had told him "I love you the whole world dada". Now, if that's not the best thing Champ has ever heard, I'm not sure what is.

Ryland has also recently been helping Champ pick the strawberries we grew. Although, I'm pretty sure she does more eating than picking. When I saw her after work, she had red strawberry juice all over her face. She is one little amazing lady.

The things she says

Ryland is like a walking dictionary these days. Sometimes I think she knows more than I do. Today Champ and her dropped me off at work. As usual, I kissed her head, got out of the car, waved to her through the window, and went it to work. What I didn't know, but was told later by Champ, is that when I got out of the car, this conversation took place...

Ryland: "mama, I love you".

Champ: "mama loves you too".

Ryland: "no...I want mama to say I love you too"

Man...this girl knows how to pull at the heart strings.





The frog below was from Guy and Nikkie's house. We caught him, and put him in the kiddy pool to swim. Then, of course, we put him back in the pond. Ryland had so much fun watching his legs kick in the water :)

Wow! July 7th has rolled around again! Champ and I have been married for 4 years. As you know, each year we take a picture of our family every year on 7-7. Today we were just thinking about how great it will be one day when we have years and years of these photos. It will be such an amazing photo album to put together. I am so proud and happy that I have such an amazing family. Here's to another great year!

Happy 4th of July!

Ryland had a very eventful and busy Independence Day today. Her day started with a bath, breakfast, and a little Berenstain Bears. Then I took her to the mall and bought her a little pair of purple saltwater sandals, which she is very proud of. She kept saying "look at my new sandals! I'm wearing my new sandals mama!".

After shoe shopping, I took Ryland over to her friend Connelly's house for a BBQ. Let me just say, today is the day that Ryland discovered her unconditional love for swimming pools. They had two little kiddy pools there, and I'm pretty sure Ryland spent the majority of the day in them.

The night ended with Champ lighting off a few fireworks and sparklers (which Ryland calls "sprinkles"). It was a great 4th of July, and with this weather we are having, I can only assume tomorrow will be just as great :)
