Spring Has Arrived...

Or at least I think it has. We had a good amount of time today with no rain, which makes Ryland a very happy girl. She loves going outside. It is her most favorite thing, and after we got back inside from our park trip she told me "I like going outside!". It is so much fun now that she can tell me how she feels...especially when she is feeling happy!

It Gets Better Everyday

Ryland is beautiful. She is amazing. She is funny, and full of life. She is talking, laughing, and running. She takes each moment in, and has a wild imagination. We should all take some time to learn from her. She is an expert at living in the moment, and is so happy doing so.

Time at the park

Ryland enjoyed some time at the park last night. It was pretty cold, but that didn't stop Ryland from going down the slide over and over again! She was so happy about it, and kept saying "I do it!".

Great grandma Mimi's Birthday

Today was a busy day! We drove up to Olympia for Mimi's 80th! Ryland had a BLAST. She spent the majority of her time playing with a push toy duck going up and down the stairs. She also showed off her talking skills, and even got to help Mimi blow out the candles on her birthday cake! When we left, Ryland said "have fun there". We are now driving home, and Ryland is sleeping peacefully.

Performer at Heart

Today I spent a lot of the day rearranging a few things in our apartment. Ryland was extremely happy when she found out I was moving the bed, and she quickly jumped into help. By "help" I mean she spent the majority of the time dancing around on the box-spring mattress as if it were a stage. Pretty silly, but totally something I would have done :)

Then later tonight, after my ballet class, Ryland enjoyed a little time on the dance floor showing off her moves. She insisted to Maricar that she wear the tutu. She was so excited, and went off dancing around the room as everyone laughed and cheered.

Bathtime

Sometimes when Ryland is taking a bath, I carry a snack with me just in case I get hungry. Yes, I know it seems odd, but this girl can take a long bath! So during her most recent bath, I had a handful of raisins I was eating, and Ryland kept insisting that we feed them to her bath toys. It was very cute of her, and also very generous! I bet you never knew those rubber duckies liked raisins!
