Natalie's first real bath at home was when she was about 3 weeks old. Her umbilical cord had not fallen off completely, so we were stuck giving her sponge baths for several weeks. We were excited to finally see how she liked the bath. Well...to our surprise...she hated it. It was the shortest bath in the history of the universe because this little lady was screaming the whole time. I think maybe we just caught her at a bad time because her second bath went really well. She seemed to love the warm water and was constantly trying to suck her hand/thumb the whole time. There is nothing like a clean baby wrapped up in a towel :)
Champ and his precious little ladies. Ryland is adjusting well. She is CONSTANTLY kissing Natalie, and always wants to know where she is. Ryland has continued to be an awesome helper. She is always packing up the diaper bag with tons of extra clothes for Natalie. Yesterday these "extra" clothes included 3 pair of leg warmers, multiple shirts, pants, and burp cloths. Ryland said "these are in case it gets windy" (referring to the leg warmers).
Natalie seems to be growing. She eats all the time, and sleeps a lot. However, she is starting to be more awake during the day. Her bright eyes are adorable. She is only getting cuter.
