Every year when Fall comes around there are certain things I always look forward to. One of my favorites being a trip to the pumpkin patch! This year Alison and I were especially excited to take Ryland for her first visit. She was porbably less excited overall than we were, but she seemed to have a great time. She met lots of new animals, sat on her first tractor, and explored all of the pumpkins. We skipped the corn maze, an old favorite. We figured getting lost out in the middle of 5 acres of maze with a hungry RP wouldnt be more trick than treat! I love taking the family to the pumpkin patch because it is a fun version of what I do everyday on the farm and it is really cool to share with them..

Spending the day with three babies can be quite a difficult task, but is usually more entertaining than one might think! All three of the babies are so different, and it's fun to see Ryland interact with the other two. There are times when Ryland will be crying, and I will bring one of the others over to her, and she will stop. It's as if Ryland, Connelly, and Liam have a connection, like they all know what the other is going through. I guess it's been so long since I've been a baby, that I can't really relate. Many people think that a baby is just a baby. They all act, look, and sound alike, but this however not true at all. Ryland's personality is already shining bright!

Professional Pictures :)

Champ and I have been wanting to get professional pictures of our new little family, well...since we became a little family. After saving some money, we finally decided to get some pictures taken. The result was absolutely amazing :) Ryland did so good, and smiled for almost every picture! The people at the picture place even had us sign a paper saying that they could put up some of our pictures in their store! We had to shrink these ones down in order to post them on the blog, but if anyone wants copies of the full size prints, we are happy to give them to you!

Layin' and Playin'

Sometimes when Ryland is playing, I think to myself how fun it would be if I could play too. All the toys are so bright, and she looks like she is having such a good time. So today, I decided to join her in the play gym. Let me tell you, these things are not made for the normal sized person, but if you get the chance, they can be a lot of fun. This is especially true when your daughter is laying next to you. She kept reaching over to me, and squeezing my face. She was talking up storm too. It was adorable, I could have been in there forever with her. I love her so much, and so does her daddy.

Today while checking out at the grocery store, the checker talked to us about Ryland the whole time! She kept telling us over and over that Ryland was so beautiful. She told us that Ryland has "laughing, dancing eyes". We've had so many people tell us how much Ryland's whole face lights up when she smiles! We are so happy to have such a beautiful little girl. We just can't get enough of her beautiful face!
