As we all know, Champ is completely head over heels for Ryland, and Ryland just loves her daddy. Everyday when Champ gets home from work, Ryland hurries to the front door to greet him with a large smile. She instantly wants him to pick her up, and give him some hugs and kisses...This just melts daddy's heart. He loves her so much!
The other night, Champ and I went out to eat at a place called The Vita Cafe. Champ sat next to Ryland, who sat in a high chair and attempted to steal food off of Champ's plate. This is a common thing for Ryland to do, but that night she used some different tactics. Rather than using her fingers, Ryland grabbed Champ's spoon, and started using it to scoop up the mashed potatoes. She then proceeded to eat off the spoon, and cover her face with food. We, of course, we very excited for her! Champ was so happy, he whipped out his phone and took a few pictures of the big event :)
One more little story....
Last night, we went to the mall, and of course, Ryland always wants to get down and walk when we go there. So Champ is usually the one walking around with her while I look for what I need. When Champ set Ryland down last night, she kept reaching her arm up to hold his hand. She wanted to walk alongside daddy, hand in hand. It was incredibly cute, and made Champ so very happy. What a special girl we have.
