Ryland watches Michael Jackson <3

Yesterday was a day that I have always been dreading. Michael Jackson has been a huge part of my life, and now he has passed away. I am very upset to say the least. I remember watching Michael's videos on t.v. when I was little, and wanting to show them to everyone I knew. Michael was a different kind of person, and I will never fail to defend him. He will always be the best entertainer that ever lived. There is no doubt in my mind. This man can evoke feelings in people that no other person can. People faint and cry in his presence, which may seem weird to some, but it's true. In 2003, my best friend, Shannon and I road on a greyhound bus for 23 hours to get to L.A. to see Michael at his 45th birthday Celebration of Love. We had barely any money, but went there because it was our one chance to see Michael. He wasn't even performing, he was just watching others perform. My reaction when he came out, was unreal. Shannon and I just cried and cried, tears of happiness. Something about Michael just filled our hearts with emotion. He was a magical man, and I can only hope that people now realize all the good that he did for the world. I hope that Michael is now in a peaceful place where he can walk and dance freely without being scrutinized. Rest in peace Michael.
When I awoke this morning, I spent the time watching Michael videos on MTV. My mom was holding Ryland, and put her up to the t.v. It was surprising to me when Ryland sat and stared as the whole "The Way You Make Me Feel" video played. At only 6 weeks old, she too seemed to be mesmerised by Michael Jackson. I had to take pictures, it was so cute! She is certainly my daughter :)
