Splish Splash

Summer has officially started and the weather is finally nice. In the past week Ryland has spent most of her time in the backyard playing in her new pool and running through the sprinkler. At first she wasn't so sure about the cold water and didn't really care for being splashed. She is now past those fears and on to pouring cups of cold water over her head.
Watching her play in the pool reminds me of being little. I can remember spending hours playing in the water. There is so much to learn about and explore when you are little. Life is all about that very moment. Spending all my time with a 3 year old helps me to live a little more like that each day.
